I became a therapist because I love working with people and helping them to accomplish their goals. I earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from San Diego State University in 1995. I then went back to SDSU to complete a master's degree in counseling, with a specialization in marriage, family, and child counseling, in 1999. I have worked in schools, hospitals, a rape crisis center, and community counseling clinics. I became licensed as a Marriage & Family Therapist in 2003 and transitioned into working in a group practice. I then started my own practice in Temecula in 2004. I see a variety of clients dealing with such issues as depression, anxiety, life transitions (e.g., divorce), grief, and child behavior problems. I am particularly interested in postpartum depression/anxiety, eating disorders (including compulsive overeating), and relationship issues.
